mares will be doing that montiel shake if he tries to pressure donaire like what he was doing against moreno.

i'd like to say donaire. btw does anyone think mares reminds them of timothy bradley. doesn't do anything fantastic, not alot of punching power, finds a way to win, and some questionable tactics as well?

Word, that's only if Donaire comes in unprepared, but I think he's got his **** together now in terms of using his tools.

Donaire will get frustrated by all the points deducted by him, by complaining about the low blows of Mares, after the brutal combinations of punches to the nuts and the frustration of not trowing a punch because of a warning of the referee, Mares will break down Nonito and stop him late by head butt KO.

Arum holds the cards for this one so don't look for GBP to be able to get a 'savior' instead of a referee as the third man.

Donaire eventually times him, and catches Mares coming in with a BIG counter. It's all downhill from there for the Mexican. I don't care how good your "chin" supposedly is, you come forward at Donaire and you're getting knocked the **** out.

Good call Hermit. Arum has been 'seen' saying he will offer GBP a fee for Mares but isn't interested in a co-promotion with them.

I doubt GBP really wants this fight. All promoter talk in my opinion.

    NO.

It could go either way.Never underestimate a world class Mexican BOXEDOR.They are tough and SMART in the ring. You can't be too sure! Donaire doesn't like pressure, if he is put out of his comfort zone he just start to crumble.I think it will show and his economical punches is not going to get it done. Mares is gonna build a big lead early by simply out working DONAIRE.Also, Nonito might get booed for his lack of punches. A lot of factors come into play here.

if nonito comes out being defensive, he wins it with a counter.

Donaire would feed him with left hooks. Plus, his straight right has improved.

It boggles my mind that some people actually think Mares has a chance in this match up.

    Donaire would annihilate him.

People thought i was talking crazy about Mares is on Donaire's level if not higher. Now people are getting on Mares bandwagon.
