Rosado has improved since Angulo fight. Rosado beat solid opponents as of recent ( Powell, Soto Karass, C. Whitaker ) but Golovkin is a bit bigger then him and has the power to KO him.

    Golovkin late KO.

Rosado is a pretty big ****er. He would actually be the bigger man in the ring.

No offense but you obviously haven't seen Oosthuizen fight before...

Oh indeed! Oosthuizen is a fighter with decent skills as well as a size and reach advantage. Also he fought 4times this year so he should be as sharp as as he possibly could. Even though he has limited experience against good opposition it would have been a good fight but the network refused him as an opponent.

Rosado is a big 154 but he should not move from this weight class right now. As said above he has been back on the track by keeping busy against good competition. They should not **** that up by facing Golovkin right now. I do not think that the result of the fight would be different in a year or two but he could make much more money for such a risky fight. Anyway he's a fighter and he would make it a fight!

If I'm Rosado I wait for the K9 title shot. I know he could still keep his mandatory position and come back down if he loses, but, its dangerous. Who knows what happens. And I dont think HBO is planning on throwing a lot of money at this fight. Its the opener of a tripleheader.

What about Andy Lee or Matthew Macklin? Or how about Bika at 168?

I'm not a fan of the Ginger, but I don't care to see Canelo-Rosado. Canelo would destroy Rosado.

Rosado is nothing more than a fringe contender.

I wanna see Canelo fight Cotto, Trout, or Lara. Not Rosado.

Rosado deserves a shot IMO by staying busy and beating all his opponents since the Angulo loss. Looking at Alvarez record it's clear that he hasn't beaten any true 154 pounders who have won at least 2 consecutive fights before facing him (only Rhodes). Therefore seeing him against Rosado would definitely be a step-up.

    agreed.

mosely was bad but the josesito fight was just horrible on all levels. even though rosada has been kod he is worlds better than the aforementioned two and is a legit jmw.

im sure gbp saw the powell ko and thought otherwise. dlh's prerequisites for securing a fight with canelo is last fight at ww, old, coming off a consecutive losses, injury or a (t)ko loss or not having kod a jmw in at least two years or preferably a combination of any of the above.

and thats why canelos not fighting 9th-ranked gabriel rosado.

    hello jww marcos maidaina
