This fight is going down on Jan 19th.

Possibly in a triple header with GGG and Juanma on the same card.

I have to go with Salido. Too tough and will put Garcia under a lot of pressure.

I think Salido's too good offensively and too relentless for Mikey, who I like.

That would be a very good fight.

I can see Salido win it by late stoppage... wich again shows a 0 on a record doesn't mean much. (I would root for Gacia though)

Mikey looked alot faster in his last fight the Argentinian would of produced a minor upset had Mikey not improved. Salido a veteran likes to mix it up Mikey a good technician probably has better power than Salido, but Idk about his resistance. I think he can put Salido down, but not out. Another thing.

Mikey hardly ever goes to the body and head hunts too much. Salido has a good body attack to slowdown Mikey and force Mikey to fight Salido's fight. I don't think Siri is done yet and ready to give up his belt.

Sentimental pick for me. Salido one of my favorites.

If Garcia wins this, I will be impressed though.

Not sure Mikey hits harder, but I agree Salido will try to make it his fight and may have more success.

Salido's found his mojo and I don't think Garcia's got enough to put the brakes on it.
I think Salido will eventually walk through him.

Fan of both guys, MG has plenty of punching power & great patience he will not engage in a slugfest with Salido which has become Orlando's strong suit as of late.

Orlando has shown some vulnerable moments being knocked down & caught flush with power shots in the past. (Great recoup tho)

Garcia's chin still a question, but what happens when/IF Mikey hurts Salido or vice versa both are excellent finishers. What I'm saying is this will be "Classic"

One of the best fights that can be made right now. Got to be honest, I wasn't totally impressed with Garcia last time out, although Barros needs to be given some credit for that. I think Garcia's low workrate might be a serious issue against a guy like Saldo, though.

Mike takes Siri to school- round trip -maybe even late stoppage .
I've been saying this for very long time.

One of those bitter sweet fights. I have been saying Mikey will be a top 5 p4p fighter for a while now. Salido though is as tough as they come. He will put pressure on Garcia like no one else has. The question is can his chin hold up to Mikey's punches? In order for Salido to land he will have to get inside on Garcia and open up. Also Salido's defense is not the greatest so Mikey's shots will get in there.

If Salido can handle Mikey's power he could very well pull off an upset. However, he has to get Mikey's respect and Mikey's chin as of now is a question mark. I have never seen him hurt but he also just does not get hit much for us to grade it. If he is hiding a glass chin he is in big trouble as Salido tests chins.

My bet on this fight would be Mikey stops Salido. Mikey is just too clinical and too hard of a puncher for a guy like Salido.

Mikey isn't the typical Mexican brawler, that kid is so skillful that I can see him the next p4p.Very intelligent always finding the right range and perfect balance. Excellent timing and never in a rush.
I remember ppl sometimes criticizing him for start too slow. He just measures his opponents until finding the right time and right stop.
I wonder what Robert will do if donaire goes to 126 and finds Mikey

Love this fight. Think Salido's recent vulnerability to hooks could really cost him if Mikey connects on one the way he did against Barros.
