He says he wants Mares but knows damn well the fight ain't getting made. His next option is Rigo, whom he says is not worthy. Go figure.

I don't think Donaire is afraid at all, but his excuses are terrible. You can't say a 2X gold medal Olympian and current undefeated champ at your weight isn't worthy...after fighting a virtual unknown in Mathebula and a prospect coming off a KO loss.

Agreed,See what I mean excuses all hyped fighters have them.Yes floyd, pac, nonito included.P4P but their opponents are picked :patsch.Rigo skooled Mares,oh that's right amateurs don't count.I guess vanes was just accidentally competitive vs Lara & his wins/experience over trout, bradley, berto didn't help.Of course it did, though I think Lara won respect quality opposition don't have to deny it like nonito.Rigo got a belt is champ that's all that matters f*ck his experience you would think he'd jump at the opportunity to prove himself instead he makes more excuses.Have nothing against nonito as a person he seems like a kool dude but he's always making up bs & contradicting himself. If you follow rigo you know he's said numerous times money isn't a problem he's never asked nonito for more money damn liar.Nonito also always shaking when Rigo name comes up maybe it's because he know most of the **** he says isn't true but his fans will back him up anyways.

At this point, Rigo is more hype than substance. Donaire would **** him up. Mares would be more of a challenge than Rigo. Let the Cuban fight a few worthy opponents, then come back in the summer or fall. I think the fight will be made, but truthfully, Rigo hasn't done enough to deserve a big fight like this. Donaire is right.

I'll wait for the results of their next fight. If both of them wins and Donaire acts like this again. It's pretty much a duck.
