Should Pacquiao fight Broner in late 2013, if Floyd continues to duck?

With Broner's impressive showing against DeMarco today, if Broner can get another stepping stone win in March/April next year, would it be feasible for him to fight Pacquiao in late 2013?

Floyd looks like he will never find the courage to get into the ring with Pac, so why not go for a Floyd clone and depending on how the fight pans out, tremendous speculation will ensue over whether the result would have been much different if it was Mayweather there instead of Broner.

If Pacquiao loses to Broner, then we know he would have lost to Floyd, and if Pacquiao destroys Broner, just imagine the PR campaign that could be waged against Floyd, saying he would fare little better.

If there was that kind of pressure brought to bear, could Floyd still refuse to fight Pacquiao?

Depends on the weight. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing it. Wouldn't mind seeing Broner - Mayweather either.

Broner has a lot to go through though, but if he moves up to 140 and can beat
    Matthaysse
    Rios
    Alvarado
    Garcia
    Mayfield

He would definitely be the number 1 P4P fighter in the world.

looking good against 135lb b level fighters is a lot different than looking good against 147lb a level fighters. if broner could get a big win at 140, i think the fight would sell big. i couldnt stand the kid but he took on a good fighter and just bullied him around and fought like he wanted to earn his money, if he went straight to 140 and took out someone like garcia, i would become a fan.

We all knew DeMarco was good, but he was not elite. I though DeMarco being a southpaw would give him issues, but it looks like he's learned a bit from the De Leon fight.

Broner has a lot of potential and I'd like to see him fight a few 140 lb fighters and get comfortable to the weight before even thinking about Pac.

The same way he would love to make Donaire-Mares - without the involvement of GB; thus, it likely won't happen.

Pac will retire next yr. If he can't get May to fight him he'll just walk.

no pacman should retire and run for pres after his 4th fight with jmm. if he kos jmm then try to make the fight with mayweather or retire.i think broner would fight jmm before he fought manny anyways.
