who has the better inside game: broner or rios?

Except Acosta was plenty quick and ended up caving all the same.

 

Broner's Shoulder Roll defense isn't entirely impenetrable. Quite a few body shots got through. At this time, I don't like him standing in the pocket against Rios.

 

I say Broner. I think Broner was content to stay static because DeMarco was content to take the punches. DeMarco was too stubborn to challenge Broners inside game plan (which I think he improvised during the fight and not part of his original game plan).

I think Broner has a lot more tactics and skill set use inside, but DeMarco never really forced him to use it.

While Rios might be stronger and more experience inside, Rios depends too much on his chin and heart to get him going.

 

Broner has better inside offense and defense in spurts. He wasn't getting hit in the pocket for three rounds.

As for complete inside game, Rios takes it. Rios has a monster chin. The guy doesn't feel pain and to trade with him inside is committing suicide. All Rios knows how to do is fight inside. If the two were to fight, Broner would move a lot more than he did against DiMarco.

 

That guy was a 6 footer who stuck out the place. Broner can only do one or the other. Throw or block. Rios throws with guys and he never stops throwing.

Demarco isn't a good inside fighter and he's no wear as strong and powerful as Rios.

And Rios has good head movement when he needs it. His style just allows him to get hit alot its what makes him effective.

 

broner has defense in the pocket and he picks his shots well. rios lets his hands go and he takes what ever he can get. broner is a better boxer then him by miles but that still would be a hell of a fight though.rios can take it and take it all day and broner might just give it to him all day.

 

Anthony Peterson was slow as **** too.

 

Broner will not sit inside against rios or mattysse or he will be put to sleep!
