Difference being Bellew had a cutman who could stem the bleeding and it wasn't a crimson tide over his face like Barrera's.

Barrera should of been stopped as soon as it happened IMO. Bellew's was really bad but Mick done a great job.

Barrera was always going to be stopped as soon as the fight left the no contest region, shameful treatment of a legend

If they had have stopped Barrera straight away it would have ruled the fight a no contest, so they waited till round 4 and stopped it so Khan got the win, bloody robbery. I think the bellew cut was as bad but in a slightly differant position, if I remember rightly Barreras was over the full length of his eyebrow where as bellews wasn't. Barrera couldnt see at thing but Bellew could.

Both bad but the difference was Barrera was taking punches on it whilst Tony avoided them.

Yeah just seen it on google images its on his forehead running verticlly basically from the center of his eyebrow up, I think it was in a worse position than bellews still.

The Barrera fight was a joke!

It was a terrible cut, and the fight should have been stopped straight away. Afterwards, you'd have though Amir had beaten a prime Barrera, the way he was talking. The guy's a complete clown!

He then went on to fight McCloskey, who was frustrating him, and making him miss, and then they stopped the fight, when there wasn't even any blood. An absolute disgrace of a stoppage! Then Khan says "I would definitely have gone on to stop him anyway!"

Can't stand the guy, and I can't wait for him to get knocked out again!

    Regards, Loudon.

It was a very awkward position. Not somewhere where he could naturally protect it with his gloves.
