I've actually watched one live. Was a good event. Cebu few months ago.

 

Ive been and there are qualities like you've mentioned (I think every Pinoy admits that) but thats mostly due to lack of education and the past corrupt Govt. Now that the country is on the rise, Ive seen lots of real patriotism.

I'm gonna assume you live in the US. Imagine in US all the white girls just wanted the black guys, everyone on TV in black, billboard models are black and black is the barometer of beauty standard?

Philippines would hire half Filipino's for media roles way before a pure Filipino, I'm not saying there should be favouritsm towards pure but shows where the pride lies when the whole representation of the country in the media exists in that 0.1% of the population of half whites and foreigners. They would hire Brazillian models WAY before hiring a Filipino. They will say the Brazillian is better looking, well duh, you set the beauty standard by western standards, of course the one with western features is gonna appear to be more beautiful.

TV, billboards, magazines...none of the guys or women on them look like they come from the general population, that's because they dont. The women flock to the white men and the people wanna look white.

Yea Pac probably a true Filipino, but look at Jinky, different from getting a tan, she got her skin whitened and straightened her nose (a white feature) to look like a white lady. All the while I read articles of Jinkees Filipina beauty. lol.

Right. Marquez had to add weight because they are now fighting as full-pledged welterweights. He had to eat more and train more, hence bulking up. I'm actually doing the same right now, trying to add weight while doing weight training. Result is a bulkier, ripped and its all natural.

Pacquiao has been unjustly accused in the past of roiding. This PEDs witch-hunt has to stop because it ruins the credibility of fighters. They are innocent until proven guilty
