funny how on one post you're defending Marquez for saying the same thing Pac was saying when Mayweather was asking him for extra testing, and on another you're shitting on Pac.

It's no wonder combat sports are in the state its in with drugs. Fans don't know **** about them and prefer to bury their heads in the sand than actually educate themselves about it while governing bodies do virtually nothing to stop them. We've reached a point where we have a 39 year old fighter hiring one of the leading PED experts in the world in to his camp (under an alias), adding a **** ton of muscle mass to fight well above his natural weight class and looking like a beast - and people want to shout down anyone who points to PEDS! ****ing insane.

Boxing is a sport now where you basically have immunity to take what you want because a). The fans don't care or don't know b) the governing bodies don't care.

 

When everyone started bitching about Angel when his history was brought out on the table Marquez said he is willing to do any test at random from then until the day of the fight.

Team Pac never said **** else about Angel or even considered doing any test. That is the point I was making. Ironic that tards are accusing JMM but what test has Manny ever taking outside of post fight **** test............................oh wait.

 

The point isn't that Marquez isn't on PEDs. The point is that it's a bit rich for certain fans to make that accusation or casually declare it a fact when those fans' favorite fighter has himself acted suspiciously and repeatedly refused additional scrutiny, even when Marquez himself made the offer to undergo additional testing in the run-up to the last fight.

I read it as simply applying the evidential standard that others use to absolve their particular favorites. As always in boxing discussions, double standards run amok.
