I think so, I like Shannon- he speaks a lot of sense in the corner and is also very humble. Likable man.

 

i rate him and this isnt a criticism of him, but when there was a piece on him before 1 or 2 of his fighters fought (ringside maybe) he was talking about what the win would mean for him and his recognition etc, fair enough as obviously he deserves exposure if his fighters are winning, but i found it all a bit odd, anyone else clock that?

 

Anyone can train someone who already knows how to box- real skill is guiding someone from the beginning and he's done that several times.

Definitely dont agree here.

The very top trainers that earn large money cant be bringing guys right through for peanuts, its the fact that they can improve world class fighters that counts.

Anybody could bring through a world class talent and whilst they would not be as good as they could be , they could still be good fighers

 

Shannon's haircut is always tragic, he looks proper bent.

 

possibly, think he was talking about that and another fight, just kept mentioning what it would do for him rather than his fighters, seemed a bit odd thats all, like it was his time rather than theirs
