Explain why Ward should go to Europe to rematch guys he completely dominated.

easy. because it would be a great fight.

in other news it wasnt domination, but it was a convincing win for ward. froch started very slowly for a lot of fights and almost got caught out a few times because of this. it caught up with him vs kessler and bute. to his credit he seems to have addressed this in his last couple of fights.

so, i think froch loses again in a closer fight that is ****ing ace. it would be an awesome fight. and froch vs kessler. and kessler vs ward. as boxing fans we should be demanding fights like this, just like mma fans do. but no, because of weird, homosexual dick riders like you, fighters can avoid these sorts off encounters.

The only reason I can see for this happening is simply because there's not much else left at 168 for Ward, and if he has to fight Kessler or Ward again, he may aswell do it on their turf, just to cement his greatness.

But he doesn't have to, no. Especially not to appease a few die hard fans who reside in certain internet forums.

The average casual fan who'd seen either of those fights would be utterly baffled as to why he was rematching either of them.

all those are big money fights, even if Ward dominated those guys first time around

if not, then go up to 175, although there's really no one there who could pose a challenge to him

 

Because WARD has had home field advantage in every single ****ing fight and he's barely a draw. If he was a big as Floyd or Pacquiao, you could argue the economics. As of now, it's just an advantage he has to have for every fight.

 

But none of those guys at 168 were a challenge to him either.


He probably has a harder time with Dawson at 175 than he does with Froch, Kessler or Abraham at 168 again.

 

I'm all for Ward keeping up his dominance staying at 168, he'd keep dominating just like Ottke or Michalczewski at 175

other than Dawson, there's no one at 175 for Ward who would make a close, competetive fight, and I still believe Ward badly outclassed Bad Chad at 175

 

I agree he shouldn't need to. But those that are saying he should, do so because of the following reasons:

• There's no one at 168 left for him.
• His closest rivals are those that he's already beaten.
• Seems pointless fighting them again unless he does so in circumstances which would provide more of a challenge. Taking on Kessler and Froch infront of their fans, would be something to make him get out of bed.

And, to be honest, I don't think the above is a bad idea. After he beats up Pavlik, I think his legacy and status with the fans would benefit if he acted promptly and struck a deal with Kessler before Froch does. He already lost out on Bute to him, and so it would be good if he did something so that the same doesn't happen again.

But that there is the problem. It would only be 'good' to do that. Not a 'must'. Because he's already sitting on lucrative deal with HBO who are happy to feed him non-threatening opponents that sell well (drained Dawson and an alcoholic Pavlik). Fat chance of him going out of his way to give that up for two guys he's already beaten comfortably.

He doesn't need to whatsoever. He dominated them both first go around. BUT...

Froch and Kessler just so happen to be the 2nd and 3rd best super middleweights out there, only below himself. So, the rematches would make sense in that there are no better fights at his weight for him.

 

At least in Denmark he wouldn´t get away with constant headbutting.
