I said on here that Hatton just can't work at Welter.

His style is a bullying kind, and he was up against a full blown welterweight in there, and the fitness was not.

In hindsight he should've dropped to domestic level, give Witter that fight.

 

Dempsey had an absolute mare with that interview.

 

Chaps, look at the big picture:

Should he have come back? No. But he did so we (high percentage) wished he did well cos he's a ledge.

Did anyone, ANYONE, expect him to even get close to what he was at 29? No.

Did we expect him to be Senchenko? Yes. And then 'progress' to a half decent fighter. Thankfully he didn't win, say, on points, then he could have got seriously hurt fighting at the next level.

Ricky - love you man - you've cleared your head of all the crap - go train some kids.

You cant pack up at 30 and come back years later, not at these weights, unless you are supremely skilled anyway

Dont think Ricky needs to grow up, I just think that he picked the wrong first opponent when Sky dropped Hatton Promotions, he coulda picked an easier foe and got his stable televised

Wouldn't be surprised at Khan-Senchenko being made if Khan gets past Molina...

 

yeah the morales fight the other week gave me a foreboding.

and morales was a much better fighter than ricky ever was.

on the positive side i got 55/1 on betfair on round 9 ko. (also backed 8 and 10 as i could see the fight happening as it did

It was a sad way to go out and after my initial celebrating, I did feel sorry for Hatton.
