It depends how Guerrero wants to fight if he stays on the outside and puts his focus on his jab and straight left he might have a chance. If Guerrero thinks he can do to Floyd what he did to Berto he deserves to get embarrassed and finished because that's exactly what will happen to him if he chooses to fight that way.
Floyd would win every round against Guerrero. Like said, Alvarez would be a much better opponent for Floyd.
Closer fight than people think. That means it won't be 12-0..probably like 9-3...lol Floyd on skill/talent wins this. It will be interesting to see him in there with someone as mentally tough as Guerrero, though. Guerrero's not going to all Oliver McCall/Victor Ortiz in there.
Nah, Guerrero's rampant smothering is effective against someone like Berto who can't fight with versatility with his back against the ropes, but Floyd would eat that **** up.
He's mexican, he's a south paw, he's a naturally smaller fighter then floyd. I'd say you can book it. That being said I'll be honest he would give floyd a good fight and because of styles wouldn't be good practice for pacquiao.
Either way Floyd will get a lot of Mexican Money....with fights on "Cinco de Mayo" and then in September for the "Real Mexican Independence Day". Then Hopefully Arum will have that new outdoor arena finished after that for the Pacquiao fight. Oh, by the way. How's the construction going on that arena? SMH!!!
If it happens, Floyd might let Guerrero outhustle him for a few rounds, but pretty much whoops him the rest of the time, winning by either wide decision or late stoppage. Guerrero will certainly give it his best and not lay down for him, but he's got no chance against Floyd and I think a decent number of Welterweights would beat Guerrero as things stand. Berto has talent in terms of his physical gifts but serious flaws that Guerrero was able to exploit.
Very safe fight. Sounds like Floyd's kind of tussle. Not sure what kind of PPV this will do, though. Even on Cinco De Mayo. Who even cares about Guerrero?
