Deep down he knows he can't beat Wlad, cash out job pure and simple.
I'm a big Fury fan but this isn't going to be good for his career.I hope I'm wrong though, because unlike alot of Wlads opposition Fury will actually turn up to fight.Should have a crack at Price first though IMO,similiar style to Wlad and a hard puncher, see how he copes.

watch any fight from 2000-2001 of wlad and compare it to fury now

they were the same age then, i mean seriously, i dont need to say anything about the difference in class and basic hand eye coordination

Fury is a long way off being ready for Wlad so I'm hoping this is just a bit of **** talk for his own sake. He's got so much time on his side and he needs a massive amount of improvement if he's to ever be ready for an opponent like Wlad.

Next week we'll find out if Fury is on the right road or not. It's a big step up for him and he'll have to box his best fight yet to win and to look good in the process.

Simply no point in rushing things because he's still a million miles away from being ready....unless, as mentioned, he's just looking to cash out.

i reckon he has less chance of winning but more chance of knocking johnson out when comparing it to when vitali fought him

jesus. What a ****ing fool he'd be to take wlad on now. Surely C5 would want fury to keep milking the ratings for a while yet?

Fury is making clear improvements with each fight, ill be watching his next fight with huge interset. If he can improve on what he already has in a big way there's going to be trouble for Wladimr.
Too many people here claiming he will bomb him out in 6 rounds. Ridiculous. What young decent fighter's has Wlad been putting away?
Fury has a lot more tools in his box than Wladimr has.

Maybe Henessey has a limited amount of TV dates and needs to hurry things up to satisfy Channel 5? Way too soon for Fury, the WBA regular/WBC route would be far simpler for him. Wlad would beat him in eight as things stand.

Wlad looked more aggressive earlier in his last fight. If he took it to Fury from the off I could see a pretty early stoppage.

The build up would be hilarious, and i can see Tyson giving it a good go and making an exciting fight but i think its still too soon for him.
I can't fault him for wanting a crack at it though.

It's crazy that Tyson Fury is even being spoken of as a title contender.
That's how bad the division is, I guess.

First time I saw Fury, I thought he was crap.
He's improved, I'll give him that. He's still not exactly good.

Fair play for Fury to actually want to test himself against the best. Maybe he should hold back and fight Sexton, Harrison or Skelton to "develop" ..... hold on, err forget it. As far as I'm concerned a loss against Wladimir at this stage of his career will do him no harm, a win however?

fury is good but his chin is questionable. not sure it would hold up against wlad's power. but fury being fury - he would try his best to knock wlad out. and he won't be a walking punch bag like wach was.
