Maybe because Bradley hardly landed anything. That fight wasn't remotely close and if you aren't trolling you are a ****ing idiot that knows absolutely jack **** about boxing. But I suspect you are trolling.

I think a better example would be Pac-Marquez III, when they just deliberately ignored clean, hard punches landed by Marquez and instead screamed about, "Man, look at Pacquiao's footwork as he's getting hit."

Kellerman especially was a scumbag for the way he called that fight, since he goes out of his way to suck off the boxer/counterpuncher-type in every other fight he calls. He basically sold his soul when calling that fight.

I love how during the Berto fight, HBO's crew went out of their way to pretend that all the great fights we've had on Showtime all year long never happened.

Even at the end of the fight, Kellerman attempted to list all the great fights we've had this year -

"In a year in which we've had fights like Rios-Alvarado, and..."

    - then he pauses, suddenly cuts off his thought, and says -

"...well, this fight was as good as we've had all year."

What a bunch of childish ***gots.

Even worse is when Showtime shows a fight on the same night, with a delayed broadcast on the west coast, and HBO deliberately spoils the results of the fight on air during their broadcast.

No wonder Showtime doesn't want to get involved in their joint "video sharing" venture. Maybe if HBO's crew started acting like adults first.

hEY MAN **** YOU....I said it was a close fight. Pac only fought the last 20 seconds of each round, and all of the punches bradley landed were ignored by the HBO cast!

Sooner or later, HBO will acquire Showtime or vice versa. Then we'll have boxing on every weekend, and a dream commentary lineup.

HBO WCB/Showtime Championship Boxing: Al Bernstein as main play-by-play, Roy Jones Jr. as color, Max Kellerman as expert analyst.

HBO BAD/ShoBox The New Generation: Steve Farhood as main play-by-play, Antonio Tarver as color, Brian Kenney as expert analyst.

Happy trails to Larry Merchant, Jim Lampley, Bob Papa, Gus Johnson, and Curt Menefee. :hi:

Oh, and Chuck Giampa replacing Harold Lederman on the big shows as unofficial scorer.

    :love

Regardless of the decision, that fight was called horribly by Jim in a complete bias to everything Pac was doing, and that is a fact. If you doubt this at all you need to rewatch the fight and pay attention to the commentating that is going on and see how off it is with the action taking place.

All you'd have then would be a bunch of threads complaining about HBO trying to 'manufacture drama' in blowouts.

You ****s need to learn some FULL TRUTH.

HBO's boxing commentary teams are pretty much always better than Showtime's.

Al Bernstein is just **** and the most overrated commentator in the history of the sport. The only **** he is better than, is Howard Cosell.

Merchant was great, but is now too old.

Kellerman is improving and helps create a good atmosphere.

Lampley also use to be great, but is now clearly on the downslide.

    Bob Papa is solid.

I've hated this **** for years, most overated self promoting shithouse of the modern era, he would just not shut his ****ing mouth for a second during a round. He ruined the commentary of so many top fights in the 80's it was criminal.

All he would screach was, HE'S RIGHTY! NOW HE'S LEFTY! NOW HE'S INSIDE! NOW HE'S OUTSIDE! I just wanted to kick his ****ing teeth out:twisted: It's got to be a given that Bernstein & the Kellermans of this world had to have smoked the bosses **** to get where they are:deal

Al Bernstein used to try to get Scotty Olson's name into every conversation, even if he was discussing the heavyweights.
