does Gomez REALLY have a chance?

    he is a good fighter and he seems like a good fighter but he is not in the same league as cotto

    Anything can happen in boxing. Cotto could be so aggressive and knock him down and while he's down throw another punch while he's down. Then Cotto would get diqualified. It happened to Roy Jones against an inferior boxer. Cotto could get accidently DQ. There could be a clash of heads and Cotto gets a horrendous cut which impairs him from performing his best. Any number of freak accidents can happen which could allow Gomez to win. But barring any freak accident, Cotto should win because he's the superior boxer.

    in my opinion no. he may give cotto some work but i dont expect him to last more than 6

    He's pretty big isnt he? Wasnt he fighting higher then 147? Based on his size alone he might give Cotto a little trouble but I expect Cotto to beat him pretty easily. But Gomez has some decent skills so I'm not gonna say he has NO chance at all. Its just a very little chance.

    For April either Hopkins or Gomez will win maybe both, and im willing to bet money that one or the other does.

    Yes, he does. 0.8525124%.

    If he had power, then maybe he could have some kind of real chance, but he doesn't so it's going to be a Cotto blowout no matter how focused/motivated Gomez is.

    Gomez, has a solid chin, and just enough skill to take a god-awful beating before Cotto knocks him out in 8 or 9 rounds.

    I'm not the biggest Cotto fan, but I bet all my vcash on him for this fight.
