Greatest fighters with gypsy heritage?

    Gypsy people are natural fighters, its in their heritage, **** all you can do about it when its part of your growing up, imo not many go Pro because of the lack of discipline in the fighting style, sometimes you can be too eager to have a tear up and neglect the boxing smartly element, the Finnegan's and Fury's are a rare breed in that they are not too Gung Ho.

    He was a 'traveller'. I guess it depends on what definition you use for the term 'gypsy'. He certainly was not of Eastern Europe blood, so I can understand why you question Mace.

    And to follow up:

    From his boyhood there were rumours that he was of gypsy blood. His first nickname was 'The Swaffham Gypsy'. But Mace showed resentment for this in his autobiography.

    Francis Barrett showed a lot of potential when he was a youngster but his career seemed to fizzle out when he moved over the water to England , solid a AM though .

Pier frank winterstien, euro champ many years in 70 s, lorcy brothers, tiozo brothers, hilton brothers, Ben marshal, wales british champ, arturu gatti, many many french , spanish, italion, german ie christopher canclaux, frenkel, etc etc, theres been champion travelers / gypsys, since the job was created, far to many to mention them all.

    Just to be clear.. do you mean Gypsy as in Romanian Gypsies or Travellers?
