Manny would have tested if Floyd was actually willing to step up to the plate and make the fight. Instead, we get the results of what Floyd started with accusations and fighters who all the sudden want their opponents to take extra tests. It is very sad to see how soft boxing has gotten.

Floyd was ready to make the fight and every other fighter that Floyd fought submitted to the same testing policy without issue. Only Pac rejected and bitched out.

Floyd pushed for this fight more than Pac ever did, he even offered Pac a May 5 date of this year which he rejected citing that he needed time to heal a cut ... yet he fought Bradley a month later.

Never heard of anyone taking over 6 months to heal a superficial cut.

Nah. All of Floyd's moves proved only that he wanted to avoid having to fight Pac. If he really wanted to square off with the pinoy phenom he wouldn't have demanded additional testing which contradicted his previous stance on what he felt about Manny in terms of being an easy opponent. We also wouldn't have seen all the accusation, insults and demands from Floyd.

You say no one else had any problems with accepting Floyd's drug tests, right? Well.....no one else who has faced Manny ever felt the need for demanding additional tests either.

Pac actually accepted Floyd's demand for randomized testing. But of course Floyd pressed blood testing all the way up to fight night which was very strange given that urine testing is what is used 99% of the time in catching those who are doping.

Manny agreed to urine testing, at random, throughout camp from the very beginning. The only issue that came up was for a cut off for blood tests.

I don't see how anyone could equate Floyd's actions and contradictions throughout this ordeal as "wanting" to make this fight.

PAC didn't accept anything. Saying you've accepted it in a media interview is not accepting it for real is it? If your theory about Floyd been scared is true why didn't pac just accept testing in 09 and call Floyds bluff? Cos PAC and his team were scared to ****ing death of been caught- that's why.

This is what's wrong with boxing anti doping screening.
Shouldn't just be mandatory equal tests for everybody ? Just like the Olympics?
    No more BS.
Afraid of needles? You didn't know what they gave you? Took the wrong pill?
    Then you're out.

    :deal exactly

Fighters shouldn't get to decide whether they want additional testing or not - should be mandatory!

Yeah, Pac RECENTLY accepted Floyd's testing when he was already scheduled to fight Marquez

Fact is that both times Floyd pushed more than Pac to make the fight ... there's no reason at all that Pac shouldn't have fought him on May 5 of this year ...

Oh I forgot, Arum is still building that stadium

And Floyd had the same testing policy for all of his recent fights ... only Pac rejected ... until recently anyway ... and we all know that Arum calls the shots and Pac is just his pawn ... look at Roach claiming that he wants to test Marquez now but Arum won't allow it

Anyone who takes what team pac has to say is naive. They all contradict eachother and dont even care to agree on one story amongst themselves. Bob will come out today and say he had no clue testing was wanted or some bull****. Just wait and see.

Manny accepted. The whole circus that derived from the testing Floyd needed was on the cut off for blood testing. Which again, wasn't necessary.

Pac did call Floyd's bluff. That's why we saw Floyd make up numerous excuses to why he couldn't fight. After Pac agreed to all the demands, Floyd lost his urge to fight, he ent on vacation, he got engaged and was planning a wedding that wouldn't allow him to fight. Now we have Floyd wanting all the PPVs. Let's be real....Floyd doesn't want the fight. Is he scared? I font think so, but he doesn't want to lose.

I don't think Pac is afraid of getting caught. The accusations that Floyd created, he apologized for that, he paid a settlement to avoid further financial cost and his reputation has been hurt becuase of it.

Testing or no testing they're going to fight. Floyd wouldn't go anywhere near pac unless he had his testing in place. Regardless, Pac's position for years now has been he'll take the tests, and Floyd has given more excuses to dip out of the fight.

Pac agreed to random testing from jump. The blood tests that Floyd wanted all the way up to the day of the fight was accepted over a year ago even though there's no need for blood testing throughout camp. Post fight blood tests are great and logical, but throughout training camp? Strange.

Floyd has definitely "pushed", but not towards making the fight. How many business deals do you think would have a successful outcome if they mirrored Floyd's business model? You know, insulting the other side, making unprecedented demands, racial slurs and on top of everything else giving ultimatums that would put most of the monies in the pocket of one company?

The May 5 date wasn't going to happen, with or without the stadium but I have to admit....it was a terrible excuse.

JMM is a drug cheat, he lost 3x to Pac already and it's about to become 4.

I agree. The problem is that the kind of additional testing that's needed isn't financially feasible to adopt boxing wide. Floyd's testing is better than what is in place, but when weighing out the financial expense the testing doesn't make sense.

The testing Nonito moved forward with is what boxing would need if a change in this direction is made. Real Olympic Style Testing. If athletes are beating WADAs testing in the Olympics 99% of the time, then it won't be difficult at all to beat the kind of testing that Floyd created with USADA which is only taking place between a 4 to 12 week period.

It needs to be done boxing wide if done at all. Singling out certain fighters is wrong unless there's real proof to back up the claims.
