Exciting promo. But Ward will make this a dull fight, get on the inside where Pavlik wont be effective and win a lopsided UD.

 

Yes. It is simple to imagine the fight.

Ward going inside and holding and headbutting and them changing their heads from side to side with sweat and spit dripping down eachothers' bodies... Pavlik's long reach being completely ineffective there, and Ward getting some punches in in between the rubbing of heads, bodies etc.

Gays probably love seeing Ward 'fight' because it is mostly rubbing bodies against eachother, holding etc.

But for me, and probably most boxing fans.... makes for boring fights.

He does have made a nice little niche for himself with the Hopkins style he uses... But if he wanted to fight very technically couldn't he at least have emulated Mayweather who is more pleasing to watch. Floyd (although a dickhead) is nice to watch for the technical aspects. Ward not so much.
