When I met Buncey after the Mitchell fight and he told me there might be a rematch,the penny should've dropped then.
Even though the SECC was great that night,it might just've been bad news for Ricky's fans.

gl to burns he has fought some decent fighters of late unlike say cleverly, but strikes me he would fight anyone anywhere,not his fault who his promo team pick for him...at short notice...

Dont understand why people cant just calm the **** down, the big fights will happen, whats the big rush?

 

thing is...if u are a business, delivering a product or service...and boxing promotion IS. then the internet gives you immediate, valuable insight into what customers think about the product/service you are delivering. so technically promoters should LOVE the internet.

the only difference here is that certain promoters probably dont actually give a shiny sh1te what the feedback from customers is because they are arrogant and deluded enough to believe that they can serve up whatever the hell they like and the same morons that read their garbage columns in tabloid newspapers will buy the tickets and pay the subscriptions.

i've found in all cases, businesses that have that type of customer philosoophy fail.

we are getting very near year end accounts submission time.

oh..and ocampo is a joke defense. but you get what you can afford to pay for (and who doesnt know or isnt bothered about past issues with timely payments)

am more inclined to be sympathetic toward Burns (as long as he doesnt keep coming out with indefensible triped about what a tough night its going to be) than his welsh co-captive who i think is far more convinced that he is a credible champion in the eyes of the public.

and he is supposed to be the bright one!

I put Talksport on yesterday and it was just at the tail end of an interview with Billy the Fish but I don't know if Ricky was mentioned earlier.
Anyone hear it or know what he said?

 

How he who cannot be named has the cheek to criticize a fighter like Froch when his 2 "World Champs" are complete jokes on the World stage is completely beyond me.

The quality of opponent for this fight was so predictable and before someone starts with the 2 weeks notice bull**** just remember who the opponent was before the substitute.

Abysmal.

 

Thats the real reason VVarren was so gutted after the Mitchell fight. He was hoping for a close war so there'd be crys for a remtach.
