Pavlik/Ward Poll Thread: Take Two Update:Finally Signed

The new Kelly will need everything he got to get this win. Hes got a great new team with new tricks. He must start fast and be patient. Ward will walk into a nice right early and have to adjust. This fights biggest thrill for me is seeing these natural lefties fighting orthodox. I feel the left hook is going to stop this fight, 10 th round.

 

You're right about the need for KP to start fast. I've noticed Ward makes quite a few mistakes in the first 2-3 rounds. After that, he gets into his rythm, and cleans up his act. However, there is another guy in this fight who also routinely needs a few rounds to settle in. Starting fast, and starting smart, are two different things. That's the nice thing about Having Garcia onboard. He'll have a good game plan come fight time.
