he's a very good offensive coach, some of his fighters realize way too late that it's not about how renown a coach is, but how well they suit you and your weaknesses/strengths

Pacquiao hasn't, as far as I am aware Kid Chocolate hasn't, Vanes hasn't, JCC Jr hasn't.

So not really ALL.....he's a trainer he's bound to have fall outs.......

Give'em an inch and they wind up taking a yard. A lot of people's nature is to take advantage of a situation to better their own position...whatever that may be.

it's just that roach has spread himself too thin guiding several high profile fighters especially with his condition. roach needs to ease up a bit.

JG! So you can't just leave all of us hanggin' like that. We know you have an insiders' perspective when it comes to this sport....even moreso when it comes to the Wild Card Gym and all the different people who frequent that gym. Can you drop any dimes....give your fellow ESB brethren some more details about what you mean?

Many fighters who change trainers overtly criticise their former coaches or make thinly veiled criticisms such as "I'm now doing things I've never focused on before and i feel so much better". This isn't peculiar to Roach at all

Was'nt it Roach who went on the offensive criticizing Pacquiao for having Koncz around? Thats sure to draw ire from Koncz that you should expect.

How has Moorer backstabbed Roach? Is it the unfounded rumor that Moorer was the reliable source Teddy Atlas had when Atlas said he heard from a good source that somebody in Pacquiao's camp asked the Mayweather camp what were the consequences if he tested positive in those proposed PED tests during the initial negotiations to make the Mayweather-Pac fight?

Cough it up JG, you started this thread! :D

From what I understand: From one of the 24/7s Roach never liked Konz.

Boxers do it a lot, it is common. People left Manny Stewerd (some showed u crying at funeral, hypocrites) Usually it one of two reasons: Money, or blaming trainer for loss. People start telling fighters stuff, how they can make more money, or how trainer is no good, a few listen, especially after tough loss. Look at Paul Malianggi. Trained from amateur days by Billy Giles, he dumped him after first pro loss, hired McGirt, dumped him after a loss, and is on what? his 4th trainer? He blamed Giles for loss, then McGirt got blame when he lost with him.

Hatton, too, has blamed how many trainers for his losses?
