To be fair to Fury I started watching from round 7, so I dont know what he did before that. But to say that he was active is a huge overstatement. The commentators kept saying that he needs to throw more punches. Read the thread and see what most posters say.
Ok, i might have forgot how boring that fight was haha. But, honestly Fury didnt impress me that much. I know that KJ is a spoiler, but Fury could have tried at least a bit to KO him. He was just content with throwing some jabs, a right here and there and thats it.

When a guy is throwing 5 punches per round it gives the opponent incentive to open up more, which Fury did and ended up paying for it at points when KJ finally decided to let go. Inactivity can be used like a sneak tactic. You throw hands when your opponent is least expecting it and also when he is throwing combos all over the place because of your inactivity.

Good performance overall. Fury could have tried harder. He was successful with uppercuts.

It's proven it is very hard to look good against Johnson.

Fury fought a disciplined fight. You don't do that if you're an amatuer, or poorly trained boxer. Klitschko is going to decapitate him, but in this fight he had a plan, he stuck to it, and he won. End of story.

furys glass jaw already exposed by a featherfisted gypsy with a less than 20% ko rate. fury has no chin. price is much much better.
