Let me clarify some things. I don't know if Haye's remarks were serious. I think he'd beat Fury and Price. Haye wouldt beat Povetkin. Povetkin is a strong and skilled boxer. As for Haye: his most impressive performance was his Win against Chisora, who by then lost 3 fights in a row. None of his HW fights have been good. Ruiz and Harisson were old and no contendors. Valuev was way too slow and static. And vs Wladimir it was clear that Haye is not a real contendor in the HW divison....
I think he can, but I'm sure I read one of the obstacles to a fight now was Povetkin was demanding recognition as a 'world champion' going into the fight, which he isn't as Wlad took the WBA belt from Haye, before they bumped him up to 'super champion' which is BS as we all know.
It's a stupid situation which needs addressing pronto. Four championships is enough without all this "Super Champion" bunkum.
The Heavyweight division is not as bad as people make out if Haye really believed he could clean it out i think he would have a go he fought Chisora didnt he but there is some heavys who could beat him other than the Klitschkos say for example he fought and lost to Chambers or Povetkin it would damage his legacy at HW and i dont think he would want to risk that i think he likes the thought of people saying he would clear out the division he stepped up and the only HW capable of beating him was a 6ft7 Klitschko and that sounds like a good resume at heavy but imagine he fought and lost to Chambers or someone like that it dosent sound so good then.
I was rooting for Huck but Povetkin won fairly on points. Your comment shows that, like the majority of the boxing fans, you dont have good analyzing skill. Watch fights over and over and speak with people who follow boxing or who box themselves.
