Still has his jab, and Quillin is fairly inexperienced only 6 am fights. Basically a street fighter with excellent physical gifts who was molded into a boxer.

If Hes not carefully he could be caught with a one two and be out like Mitchell was

Jermaine Taylors's chin is couldn't hold up in a pillow fight. As as soon as Quillin hits his chin, JT is going to sleep. I really wish he would retire.

His overall athleticism is average and his footspeed below average.

Love Jermain, I'll root for him til he's done, but I think Quillin will win this fight by KO. I think Jermain could give him some problems but I'd be shocked if he weren't KO'd.

His hand speed and power are decidedly above average. But of course you overrate anyone with Ski, Og or Vov at the end of their names lol

I can't believe NYSAC would license Jermaine Taylor to fight.

We'll have to disagree. Every time I watch Jermain Taylor fight the only people he's a danger to are club fighters and himself.

If I'm not mistaken, he hadn't knocked anyone out from 2005-2011. So, from Daniel Eduard to Jesse Nicklow(which was an awful stoppage).

Since he had bleeding on his brain against Arthur Abraham he has fought the following:

Jesse Nicklow-club fighter (who was still standing in the 8th round and was the victim of a BS stoppage).

Caleb Truax- club fighter- who lasted the distance...and really...it was Taylor who needed to survive after being floored in the 9th.

and finally Raul Munoz-who would be classified on here as a bum- got knocked out in the 2nd or 3rd round, which loses value when you know that he usually gets KO'd early by welterweights like Alfonso Gomez.

If Taylor poses any real threat to Quillin then Quillin just isn't any good.

His size and power are good and his handspeed is average, not bad at all but not any faster than the vast majority of top MW's. Not a stand out feature and certainly not excellent as you described.

IMO Martinez, Geale, Njikam, Proksa, Khurtsidze, Jacobs, Korobov are faster and guys like Golovkin, Pirog, Sturm, Quillin, JCC, Lee, Macklin, Barker are in a similar range, below the first group.

Taylor is Pavlik-level shot. Dreadful fight.

Hopefully Quillin fights a top guy after him. He's never going to fight Golovkin but Macklin, Geale, Pirog or a N'Jikam rematch would be awesome.

Quillin has much faster hand speed than any of he guys you listed. Check the gif and show me any of those fighters executing a leaping left hook with as much power and speed as Quillin did against NDam.

Lee was getting outboxed by McEwan who Quiillin dominated easy. Golovkin slow as molasses. Macklin and Barker are slow. Proska couldnt crack an egg and Jacobs is average.

If say outside Martinez no middleweight losses Quillins physical tools.

    Disgusting joke of a fight.

Quillin by brutal KO in 6 rounds.
