and canelo cotto will proceed like may choosing the loser in zab, canelo will choose cotto and down the road face trout or Lara.

I give Golden Boy credit for trying to make quite a few big fights, but it's always been obvious that they are doing whatever they can to protect Canelo. Trout's win over Cotto is better than anything Alvarez has done, but they expect me to believe that he hasn't earned a shot. It looks even worse when you look at Canelo's recent opponents and their lack of accomplishments. They don't want Trout, because he's high risk with very little reward. Golden Boy is trying to turn Alvarez into their golden ticket. In order to do that they need to keep him away from fighters like Trout for now.

 

Let's see. Trout's best win is a wide decision over Cotto. Canelo's best win is better than that? :rofl

 

The light is slowly dawning on some folks here. :yep I get labeled for trying to point that out.

 

Canelo is going to run out of guys who moved up from 140. I think Devon Alexander is about the only guy out there who fits his opponent profile.

 

This is Chavez Jr all over again. What was the general feeling in Mexico about Jr before his Martinez fight? I at least respect him now for stepping up and taking the fight and showing now quit more than I did when he was ducking any real threat.
