Just watched this weeks Buncey. Had a fantastic interview with Jimmy Tibbs, what a fascinating man. Spoke about the Watson fight, never heard him speak about it before. Good length interview, about fifteen or twenty minutes; this is what the show should do more often IMO. Buncey was on good form, asked excellent questions and really showed his knowledge of the game. Less guests but longer more in depth interviews. Best show for ages. Oh and Happy Birthday Big Man!:good
not seen it yet, but Buncy did a two-part interview with Jimmy on his radio show a year or so back, well worth tracking down if possible. Jimmy Tibbs is a pleasure to listen to and gives an honest insight into everything.
This was the first Bunce hour I have watched in about a year and that was just because Tibbs was on it, I could spend hours listening to him.
Jimmy has got to be one of the best if not the best coaches Britain has ever had. He's sill loves the game you hear it in his voice.
:good I'll try and track it down, if you find it let me know mate! :deal I can't believe he hasn't been called that his whole life I'd like to take credit but I'm probably a good fifty years too late! :deal Agreed Billy; what a gent he is:good
You were bang right mate, I found this pic of "Jimmy T" proudly wearing this smart shirt This content is protected
:deal I haven't missed a show yet, even though the quality has varied massively. The interview last night was the best thing Buncey has done yet. Jimmy T is fascinating, a true British boxing legend, and Buncey was pitch perfect with his interview style. Clearly knew his subject and it was obvious he respected him. Could have listened to the two of them chatting all night!
