The Controversial Opinion thread (2012 Edition)

The part about Khan possessing superior skills (as opposed to just athletic gifts) was what struck me as particularly controversial if not outright wrong there.

 

Yeah, I agree it's bold statement and might be wrong. It's the controversial opinion thread after all.

My opinion on him is, his boxing or outboxing of opponents is overrated. We even had people claiming he could outbox a Mayweather, etc if he kept it at long range. But the fact is, if he was so good at outboxing people, or keeping it at long range, he wouldn't caught with avoidable shots (this is were his chin comes in). He wouldn't be getting caught by Maidana, he wouldn't be running from Peterson if he was so good at keeping the bout at long distance.

I would have no problem in confidently saying that Bradley has more in his arsenal in terms of skills in comparison to Khan. Bradley actually moves his head for one. I could go on, but it is the controversial thread for a reason. :thumbsup
