Boxing is to hit and not get hit, so why post fight do boxers say stuff like this....

I'm starting to hate the phrase. Boxing is first and foremost about winning. Some offensive fighters have to get hit to land and get the victory.

the point is to not get hit.
Minimize getting hit.
But you will eventually get hit no matter how good you are.
