    Exactly this, and frankly, it's nonsense. Cotto's experience should have served him better, but the reality is, he didn't pick up the necessary skill set and ability to see the parts of his fight plan that are resulting in positive outcomes. I seriously blame that both on him, but also, his team. Early on, you have to expose your fighter to real challenges that promote the exploration of alternative methods to circumvent opposing styles/ techniques.

    Kirkland is not a viable opponent for anyone at the moment. He's in the Dirrell-zone, where no one knows if he's healthy enough to fight, if he has a trainer, and if he has a promoter and manager.
