Well on the inside the Southpaw advantage kinda goes away bc fighters seem to square up on the inside. Pac isn't throwing any 8 punch combinations on Floyd. Manny was doing that **** against non defensive, flat footed punching bags.

    Yes, Styles makes Fights.

    - Mayweather vs De La Hoya (35 Years Old) - Split Decision win.
    - Mayweather vs Hatton - TKO 10.
    - Mayweather vs Mosley (39 Years Old) - Unanimous win.
    - Mayweather vs Cotto (154 Pounds) - Unanimous win.
    - Mayweather vs Marquez (Jumped 2 divisions 1st fight @ Welterweight) - Unanimous win.

    - Pacquiao vs De La Hoya (36 Years Old) - De La Hoya quit in Round 8.
    - Pacquiao vs Hatton - Pacquiao KO's Hatton in 2 rounds.
    - Pacquiao vs Mosley (40 Years Old) - UD win and Knocks down Mosley.
    - Pacquiao vs Cotto (145 pounds) - TKO 12.
    - Pacquiao vs Marquez (Third fight, Better conditioned- Angel Hernandez) - D,W,W

Yes Mayweather does have the skills to beat Pacquiao but Pacquiao will give him trouble too.

And Pac is best in a position when both guys are squared up. his rapid fire straight 1-2-1-2 combo is pretty much built on that. And I genuinely think that if he taps Floyd on the chin with one of those, Floyd is gonna get hurt bad. Floyd knows this is a big risk, in his latest "I care about my health" speech, he goes on about Pac's power, how unreal it is for him to be knocking down Cotto, Mosley, Hatton and why he MUST be steroids. Now whether Pac is on roids or not is irrelevant, the key thing here is that Floyd is scared of that power he sees, it could have been a product of roids, maybe not, either way, he's scared of what he saw.

A Floyd fight is virtually irrelevant either way at this point. Unless he turns back the clock with this performance.

I can see Pac outworking Floyd and keep him in a shell but mainly due to Floyd constant inactivity and bad training habits. Prime vs Prime i would've bet a large sum of Floyd without hesitation. In present day I have said to give this fight close to 50/50 with a slight edge to Floyd base on styles.

The biggest asset that Pac holds in possibly beating Floyd is his lack of fear to engage and speed and power of cource. Floyd doesn't like fighters that he can't control and is quick to pull the trigger But if Pac shows any respect to Floyd I wouldn't be shocked if Floyd gives a embrassing lopsided beating on Pac.

Keep in mind as good Pac is, he have some distinct weaknesses that Floyd can exploit. Manny is a sucker for the right hand, which happens to be Floyd's bread and butter. Pac will have to impose his style on Floyd if he wants to win. However over the Years, Pac has stray away from being and aggessive brawler to a boxer/puncher which will suit JMM and FLoyd.
I'm curious to see what Pac can bring against JMM this sat. The fight will tell a lot Manny's chances against Floyd.

I think Floyd would fight Pac in the conventional stances, like he did Judah. Pac is quick handed, so I doubt Floyd would use his philly until he have Pac under control.

That right hand is only a liability of Floyd sets it up with his feet. Pac might not be quick enough to get the angle on Floyd anymore, but if he is, the straight left is a liability to Floyd who is largely linear in his retreat. Bradley is a decent boxer with a solid right hand, and it was largely missing. But if Pac becomes stationary, Floyd will land leads all night.
