    According to Broners dad, I agree, Burns is the CHAMP! at lightweight

    "We don't consider Demarco a top 135p'er"

    "We want all of 35, we want the world championship belt, Ricky Burns, we comin for you, cs we know you the world champion"

    I'd love this to be an enjoyable thread discussing the actual comments by Broner's dad's mate...

    He was still pretty disparaging though,and as I've said many times,there are hardcore Broner fans who have acknowledged that Ricky was right to move up.

    There is no clear top guy. There wasn't before Broner arrived either. It's good that they want Burns though. Whoever wins that fight should be the clear number 1 imo.

    Very doubtful it goes ahead though.
