    According to Broners dad, I agree, Burns is the CHAMP! at lightweight

    I wasn't aware there was a "the" champ at lightweight. I consider "the" title vacated.

    Nice to see someone from the States finally giving Burns some respect. Normally the Yanks just slate him as a no mark who's not fit to wipe Broner's arse.

    Spoken like a man trying to soothe some egos to get his son a big unification fight. Makes sense.

    Fights like this are frustrating. With a slightly unknown division and the need for the champs to meet and establish a profile and some serious competition, these guys need to meet.

    Burns desperately needs a big fight in America, if he can win that he really could go places and make some serious money in the process.
