    Thoughts if true? :think

Rob Schneider also hinted at it.

Whatever. He's past it and a Mayweather fight is unlikely to happen so he might as well retire.

Thought for a while this could be his last fight, don't really blame him, would of love to see him and Floyd fight but never going to happen. Not really anything else left other than Mayweather, hes past it now so retirement is the best option

No way, Arum is smart enough to cash pacquiao out, it didn't work with bradley, so now he's trying Rios.

A few years ago I would have liked to have seen a Mayweather fight, but Mayweather would kill him if they were to fight today.

Honestly, I kind of always hoped he'd go all out in training for his one last fight, which would be against Mayweather. See a glimpse of Old-Pacquiao, one last time, win or lose.

I guess that's just wishful thinking at this point... sadly.

This makes me depressed. Pacman is a very exciting fighter at his best.

manny is quoted as saying he hopes he has 3 years left, so don't see why he would

Be great if Mayweather went with him.

Hard to say for sure though if he's really past it or if he just appears to be past it because he doesn't have his mind 100% on the job anymore. I think it's likely that he'll have one more fight after this one (provided he wins) which they than can sell as his last fight and which on that basis alone would be very profitable. I agree however that it's too late for a Mayweather fight at this point. It would still be a big fight with lots of hoopla surrounding it, but it wouldn't be the same as when both fighters still enjoyed the same aura of invincibility that now only Mayweather has.

Fact: He signed an extension with Top Rank until end of 2014
Fact: He recently said he will stop fighting when he gets to 36 - coincides with end of his Top Rank contract
Fact: Roach states "We're waiting on Mayweather"

So I would say all in all that if Pacquiao right now intends this to be his last fight it certainly contradicts with a lot of other stuff that has recently happened

    Its not true.

Manny recently renewed his contract with Top Rank for another 2 years.
