    He knows what he's in for. He has everything to lose by fighting Froch yet he doesnt care. He's all about the fans and his legacy.

    Lucian is a very smart person. He saw boxing was declining as a sport due to chicken **** cowards such as Ward who wouldnt leave their hometown for nothing on earth. He decided to be a pioneer and went to Froch's backyard and failed miserably. Did that stop him? No. He wants to fight again even if that means saying goodbye to his career. In a world filled with scum and angle shooters, Boxing is a very fortunate sport to have such an awesome character.

    Even if Bute loses again, everyone will remember him as one of the bravest to have ever been involved in boxing.

    We need more like him.

    Well done to him for not trying to get out of the rematch. I can't imagine any contemporary American fighter would have the guts to do the same in similar circumstances (i.e. taking a rematch like this after getting beaten instead of merely losing).

    I needed a laugh this morning so thanks for that.
    I've said before that Bute is in an unenviable position and I have a degree of sympathy,but I'm sick of this bull**** that he deserves credit for taking a contractually agreed rematch yet,had Froch crumbled so emphatically,Bute would be on his merry way.
    He has very loyal fans,and they would be a laughing stock forever if he ducked the rematch,so should he just give a big "**** you" to the people who made him?

    That's crazy how everyone (including uk boxing pundits) forgot that they expected Bute to trash Froch in the 1st fight. We might see another "upset" now that the former underdog has become the big favorite.

    I can only imagine the amount of brittardation on this forum had Froch won the super six, thank you Andre Ward for not letting this happen.
