LMAO. Even *******s find this **** hard to believe. I would be surprised if Manny and Floyd made 110 million combined if they fight.
I'd disagree with you if we were discussing any other fighter. Floyd, however, makes a ton of money per fight because of his zero so it makes sense for him to fight the Guerreros and Thurmans of the world at this point in his career. He's not the most exciting fighter to watch so if someone pays to see him, it's usually because they want to see him lose.
I've come to the conclusion that neither side wants the fight and I honestly don't care about it anymore, they're both beyond their prime years so who gives a ****. They both just use each other to continue making money fighting lesser opponents. **** Floyd Mayweather and **** Manny Pacquiao.
$180 million split between the two fighters is not impossible 3.5 million homes at $69.95 = $225 million, half kept by the cable and half to the two parties so $112.5 million $30 million live gate $30 million - international rights $20 million - Sponsors $5million - Miscellaneous
It doesn't seem out of the realm of reality given the magnitude of this fight.....but it definitely sounds like an inflated number for this fight. Not that it's not a really big fight.....because it still is. The problem is this fight has past its expiration date. Even the the fight at this point, smells a little sour, I'm still willing to pour the milk in my Coco Puffs.:yep Not everyone is as hyped about the thought of this fight coming off as they were when the interest of the fight was at its highest peak. I'm not confident $180 mill is realistic at this stage.
their pay doesnt come from what the fight makes, it comes from the investors who paid them hoping to make a profit off the final numbers.
Bob is so stupid he doesnt realize Manny has slowly diminished this fight looking like **** and dissuading casual fans. The possibly could have made this much money last year before Bradley and JMM3 but now I see it only selling like 1.8 at most.
