I'm no fan on Lampley (because he's a *******), but his answer to the last question was pretty darned good.
Ya that was my thought as well. It would be nice if more opinions like this could be spoken in the general media. As it stands most of them all simplify the game so much its pathetic.
It's why I like Lampley despite his biases and inaccuracies...he cares about the sport and knows deep down how unique boxing is in the sense that it tests and fleshes out the essential attributes of a human being in a way no other sport does.
