It hurts Carl that he never really made it big in America, whereas Khan is really the only British boxer to have any sort of following out in the States.

Froch, as far as I can see, is fairly popular with the American fans, even those that dislike him have a grudging respect because he'd fight anyone.

Khan.... meh. He's a HBO fighter. Those that follow him do it because they're told he's brilliant. That's how HBO works.

I'd wager that Lewis aside, Froch is the most popular British fighter of all time across the pond.

At the end of the day, he's earned the right to talk **** about whoever he wants. Lewis is the only other British fighter, perhaps ever, to have fought 9 world class opponents.

I'm sorry but I have to say this.

Anyone who thinks Bute will beat Froch in a rematch, especially after seeing Bute performance against Grachev, is an absolute mosquito brain. A true whopper.

The fact that it will be in Canada in the Montreal Bell Centre won't change anything. Those Canadian fans can't fight Froch for him. Even if the fight was in the living room of Bute's house and he had his attack dog with him, Lucian Bute would get pasted by Carl. Again.
