I'll show some appreciation when he finally fights and beats someone worthwhile. Trash talking only to fight first grade bums isn't something I can appreciate even if I tried.
Brian is now whats hes alwasy been. A good solid slightly better than domestic level boxer. At his best he was just around top 10-15 fighters in the world at his weight. Hes solid, but he was never great. Every top fighter, hes ever fought has beaten him, but he can beat anyone below elite level. Time for him to retire now. I remember him at the Atlanta olympics!
Kessler is way better now than he has been the last few years... if ever. Montoya has given him a wider range, going more to the body and that sorts. He is more precise than he has been since the Andrade-fight (his eyes are working again). I still think he's to stationary to beat Ward in a rematch though, but the Froch match is obviously interesting since both seem to have improved since their last battle. Economically I obviously also think it would be plus ev to fight Froch. I think his purse would be almost as big as the purse against Ward, and he'd have a lot bigger chance of winning and getting that extra fight and payday if he fought Froch.
Onya Kessler ! For restoring Dansk pride in boxing. Good to avenge the losses of you fellow countrymen. My missus is Danish. And she, amongst alot of other Danes i met and talked to about Mr "McGoo" , hated that mofo for beating Rudy and Mads. Very patriotic them lot! I'm stoked he KO'd him . No questions unanswered. I actually thought he'd KO Brian in the 6th...He got the revenge for Danmark. Once again. Onya Kessler. I had no doubt.
From TV2 News Denmark Website. "Magee is known to be a tough dog that is not such a beating in the floor, and therefore had Kessler set at 12 rounds in the ring. -Mikkel Kessler won clearly against Brian Magee in the third round after a very one-sided boxing match. After the match, it was also a relaxed and serene Mikkel Kessler, who met the press. "We have trained hard to hit him on the body. I am glad that I hit him first, "says Mikkel Kessler after the match" Magee is known to be a tough dog that is not such a beating in the floor, and therefore had Kessler set at 12 rounds in the ring. "At first I thought that it would be a 12 round. I think Magee is a great fighter, and I have great respect for him, "says Kessler. The press was very interested in hearing about who the next opponent will be for Kessler, but he not in the mood to talk about upcoming opponents. "I've just been world champion for the fifth time, I will not talk about the next match. Now we celebrate it, "he says.
Kesssler must do something right, because never has so many Ward fans stalked his threads.................:huh Kessler took the WBA-regular belt fight, because Kessler wants Ward next, but in a neutral venue - so therefore :think, Kessler will travel to Nottingham and face an other true warrior in Froch - biggest fight in EU next to the Calzaghe fight is comming up.........:bbb:bbb:bbb
