I already know what everyone is gonna say: "Gamboa has no defense" - "Gamboa has no chin" - "Gamboa is a Hypejob".

But IMO...I think Gamboa is a phenomenal defensive fighter. He moves well, great feet, nice head movement. Here is the problem...everytime he gets hit, it's always during the exchanges. With Gamba's speed, skill, ability to box from distance and counterpunching...he should win every fight 120-108. But he falls in love with "The Brawl" and get's tagged during exchanges. I don't feel comfortable calling him a "DUMB FIIGHTER", but he does fight dumb...at times.

Gamboa can only do this for so long. Eventually he'll step into the ring with someone with POP....and when gets sucked into another brawl, it's not going to end well.

I feel you,I think he's a legit threat to broner. Can't guarantee any beat either but like we saw tonight floyd/broner/ward/garcia,nonito ect no one is unbeatable.I'm looking forward to many more "upsets" if that's what you want to call it.Gamboa is legit he just has to put his hands up more he's overconfident at times.

Well, I don't believe any of these things. Actually, they're clearly untrue, if you're sane. Regardless, I see he's vulnerable but sometimes vulnerability seems worse than it is. I can't wait till he takes a higher test. At a higher weight, he's a bit like Rigo, for me, in the sense that he's got great strengths, still looks vulnerable and we're waiting on bigger things to know what's what.

135 will not be good for him but lets hope it was the lay off and massive dehydration, maybe 135 140 will suit him

In all honesty? I see him getting stopped by Broner. The window of opportunity he leaves open are too big for someone as precise and quick as Broner to not take advantage of.

    Just my opinion.

I was getting excited last night to come home and talk about Gamboa's fight, but I'm still not emotionally ready yet. I'm still in shock

Gamboa is fun to watch, but he is clearly chinny. He got hurt a bunch of times on Saturday night but a decent puncher. Maybe it was rust, maybe it wasn't. Either way he should pick up a real title at 130 and find the biggest money fights he can find not named Broner.

Broner stops Gamboa, IMO. Broner will have the reach advantage, power advantage, DEFENSE advantage and overall size advantage. Gamboa does nothing better than Broner. Before Broner's last fight and this Gamboa fight I thought it would be close, but Broner is getting better and Gamboa has peaked. Its over in 9.

The good thing about Gamboa is there are plenty of killers in or around his weight class.
There really is alot of potential fights that can be made.

    Gamboa is very good.

Dude just needs to tighten that defense & stop showboating so much.
