He finally got the win he so desperately craved.

Will he lose his motivation for boxing now?

One thing for sure. He needs to drop that muscle mass. I have never seen him so slow and easy to hit. I don't remember him landing a good combination all fight. All one and done.

I am hoping for Marquez v Rios myself. Provided JMM is able to get his boxing physique back and forget about this body builder ****... i think JMM takes it.

    Retirement hopefully

He's old, but more importantly he is smart. He doesn't need boxing anymore, despite boxing needing him, I would rather see him enjoy the rest of his life.

As a Marquez fan, i don't want him to stay around much longer, don't want a 5th fight with Pac, he doesn't have anything to prove anymore.

If he retired now i'd be sad but also happy as i don't want lesser fighters beating him like what happened to MAB and EM, he is past his best at 39.

JMM will now have a strong argument on his side to make the Floyd rematch + he gets a last huge paycheck

I hope Marquez retires, but I would like to see him against Cotto or bradley (get that 0)
The punishment he would get if he would fight rios, mathesye etc is not worth it, not that he wouldn't win.

I think there is a strong case for a Floyd rematch

He should retire, he's tied off the one loose end that's been bugging him for 8 years now. He seems like he's a guy who's smart with his money, so he should be able to have a comfortable retirement.

Mayweather is just the wrong style for Marquez. Heck even with this result I'd still Pacquiao a better shot against Mayweather than Marquez (not that it's a good shot)

Rios or Bradley. They're Top Rank Boxers.
