Well since most people honestly had Marquez winning their 4th fight I'd say Pac was doing better by the sounds of things than he did in the past. ESB has been pretty 'fair' when judging these fighters.

The thing about Marquez is the more aggressive you are the better he becomes - he thrives on aggression. It was a lose / lose for Manny. Be safe & get a disputed dec or push for a clear win and chance getting KO'd.

    Which he did.

I think they'll be a 5th fight. But alot will depend on Marquez & whether he wants it. He's under no rematch clauses (I believe....)

I had Pac probably winning all of the rounds except the third but first 2 were close. Thought Pacquaio was doing well until the KD but Marquez always looked very dangerous.

Pacquiao was up 47-46 and the 6th was his also before the KO.
Funnily enough he had the gameplan this time and he was starting to dominate Marquez more than he ever had - Marquez was just a flush left away from a KO himself, it was that kind of fight.

Marquez's patience and awareness of when to pull the trigger is brilliant and he capitalised on the one thing Pacquiao was not supposed to do. He got off balance with a wild straight right and fell into Marquez' right - something he was not supposed to do.

Where Marquez got that extra power from who knows, giving him the benefit of the doubt his camp clearly worked well. However giving Pacquiao some credit, he was starting to steamroller Marquez and it was ironically the best I've seen him look for years.

But a masterful counter from Marquez ended it, and Pacquiao should have learnt from the previous 3 fights.

I think we'll see a 5th fight, I don't see where Pacquiao can go. They will offer Marquez parity or maybe even more - he will not turn down $15m and we'll get 5 done in April...

Will MArquez accept? Well to be fair PAcquiao gave him his time in the sun after 2 losses so maybe it's his turn to do the same. A motivated Pacquiao vs Marquez who maybe feels he has nothing to prove would be an interesting reversal of roles.

He was - the KO in round 5 followed by an onslaught, at one stage I thought the ref might stop it at the end of 5. In the 6th Marquez had only got 5 body shots on target in the whole round before the big right came up.

Pacquiao was dominating after the adjustment from the KO in the 4th - denying that is a case of overbias towards Marquez.

dominating? :huh he wasn't beating the **** out of him across the whole ring thats dominating pac was simply just getting an upper hand which i do admit impressed me he almost looked as good as he was in the 2nd fight(which is the only fight i had pac winning in their quadroligy)

I had Pac up by a round myself... but JMM looked very dangerous at every moment.
I think another thing a lot of people were overlooking is that JMM often would go out of his way to finish any exchange with a body shot.

Pac actually visibly reacted to some of those bodyshots.
