If JMM got that hit on Money May, would Money have hit the canvas?

I doubt Floyd would ever lunge in like that, but if he did... he would at least get dropped if not KO'd. That's the same kind of shot that put P. Will, Darchinyan on the canvas, perfect counter while you lunge in, it's deadly.

I doubt that's true. Boxers often think about a combination a split second before throwing it, so the left hook would have been thrown automatically.

It's why you often see boxers throw punches after the bell as they are finishing off a pre-planned combo. :deal

But that out of the way if he did and got hit by that full forced perfectly timed right hand i have no doubt hed be out of it as well.

Mosely almost put him down and this punch was a lot more concussive.

To the risk of sounding like a Floydiot, I think if the exact same shot hit him he would've been badly stunned, or knocked down at best. We've seen Floyd take ridiculously hard hits he didn't even see coming in that round 2 Mosley fight, without getting dropped. I think it'd have pretty similar effects, since Mosley has much more power than Marquez, but the hard puches he landed on Floyd weren't as picture-perfect as JMM's hit against Pac.

 

Mayweather has a great chin, I think it was just one of those shots.

 

How do you figure that? Floyd got hit with a flush shot to then chin and then got hit with a shot he didnt see to the temple. And still didnt go down. Juan doesnt hit harder than Shane.
