This is not a thread on who would win. I just think it needs to happen.

Also people asking for JMM vs $May II please leave this forum and don't come back. Styles make fights. :deal

I made a thread about Mayweather vs JMM 2. Don't think it should happen and would be another shut out. I just think Floyd might do bc it makes business sense. The win for Marquez has the Hispanic fan base on full alert and I bet they are going to go for that fight.

I swear to God if that fight happens its a testament to the idiocy of boxing fans. That said, I'd watch it just because I can't resist. But please God give us a new fight

Mayweather ducked Pac back then. Mayweather probably wouldn't hesitate to take the fight now

Well its going to happen. ****ed up we didn't get Floyd vs Pac before either guy lost, but I see Floyd giving JMM another shot and JMM will give it his all to try and avenge that loss. Casual fans will eat it up. I say let Manny fight Bradley and Floyd JMM. Manny and Floyd fight in September of next year.

It would be interesting to see how Floyd would take a clean punch from Pacman, because I think eventually he'd get caught flush with one of his power shots.

But I don't think Manny would fight anyone except for Marquez in his next fight. Besides, as sublime as JMM's counterpunching is, Floyd is a notch above him in that department and also has a bit more power than Dinamita. Pacman could easily end up on the floor against Floyd, but I'd doubt he'd be "overconfident" in a fight with him and swing for the fences like he did last night against JMM in rounds 5 and 6.

Best case scenario I think for Pacman would be a wide UD loss unless he could nail him with a knockout punch, which I seriously doubt.

Pac has been on the decline for the last 3 years. He's gone, his body can't sustain pain and punishment anymore. Floyd fighting him now is just easy pickings/a cherry pick.

It doesn't need to happen and it won't happen and it shouldn't happen. Leave Pac alone, he was never a Mayweather, but a great legendary fighter, and he doesn't need more losses, unless you think he's intentionally collecting them like Pokemon cards...

Its meaningless now Pac is done.

Canelo is the fight that matters for anyone who wants to see the rich coward in a competitive fight.

i still want it. just look at the fab four from the 80's. they didn't not make fights because one of them lost to the other one etc.

i still think manny can beat floyd. i thought he looked great in rounds 5 and 6 till he got caught.

Manny vs Floyd still needs to happen

No thanks. I'd rather not watch a washed up Pacquiao being schooled by Mayweather.

Besides, Pac -May is well passed its sell by date. No need for it.
