Carl Froch is my favourite fighter from England, but it's a shame he hasn't been on HBO yet. They would love him in Vegas, but it doesn't seem there is anyone you could put him against to get a fight like that. Well, maybe Jean Pascal. Kelly Pavlik would have been an option but he went to fight Ward and won't be coming back
Froch v wars did 500k in the states and that would mostly be ward. I dont see american networks bothering tbh.
Well the Super Six fighters were mostly on Showtime. But now Ward is on HBO so if Carl gets the rematch we should be able to see Ward-Froch 2 on HBO. As for Vegas, I don't know.
Carl is not American nor is he based in America so HBO will not give him much thought, which is a shame but there we are.
Maybe off the wall but GGG had a hbo deal doesnt he? Froch has a decent legacy and hes not a big smw. Gennady vs ooshuizen was ridiculous on paper whereas this wld capture the imagination surely?! People will say "froch dont need it" but in two yrs or so it may look a better win for froch than it does now. It may improve his legacy in the future further still wen GGG inevitably gets a few more good wins.
