Manny Pacquaio should retire NOW

He needs to stop while people still remember his great moments. He was always a very... unstable fighter. Fast and strong, but many mistakes, he couldn't take much damage. And he still can't. Now is the time to accept that Manny Pacquaio is done and he would do himself a great favour in retiring now, saving his legacy. He should do it before Floyd actually decides to take the fight in order to troll the Pacfans... They're great sportsfans.

i think he should retire to he has nothin left to prove even tho he did look better than he has before the knock out i just think it will be hard to come back from that an to retire would be the best thing he could do but he wont retire he will fight rios an then have a marquez rematch all because this is what bob arum wants.

Yeah, he was a great boxer. He was never a Mayweather or Marquez. But he was very good, definetely one of the best! And he deserves respect. But now, GO, Pacman, you don't have it anymore. And you got other business running.

He's NOT overrated, Rodney, he defeated Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton and stuff like that, he's good.

It's ridiculous how people say now he was "never a Marquez". They had 3 razor close 12 rd battles + 5 rounds and 2.59 mins of the 6th, of which, alltogether, Pac got the better of. He got caught with a great shot and all the credit to Marquez for that.

Still, saying Pac is no Marquez all of a sudden is ******ed.

Marquez did better in most of their previous matches, trust the smart people. Pacquaio is good, Marquez is a bit better, Floyd is best. But they're all legends and deserves respect.

I agree to a point. Pacquiao COULD retire right now. The peak of his career is over. NOt talking about his peak as a person, but his career. He already went as high as was going to go
But he DOESN'T NEED to retire. In fact, he could do whatever he wants. If he retire his legacy won't take any more blows. IF he doesn't he could still make some more money and do what he loves to do.

But let's remember one think. Manny was close to a divorce not long ago. And Mrs Pacquiao said the main problem was he was never there. So, retiring and enjoying his time and money with his wife and kids sounds like an excellent plan to me.

I think he should fight a Brandon RIos type of fight to go out on a win

Manny should spend some time with his lady, I think that's where he belongs right now. It's not in the ring with the best of the best, he should forget Mayweather and Marquez entirely, but if he wants to continue, he should fight some easy fights to regain confidence and then have a great fight against Amir Khan or something, to prove he's still alive.

You are all f*cking crazy and should GTFO

Got KTFO by Marquez... so what?

Marquez at any point in that fight could have got KTFO

Pacquiao has only ever lost to Marquez in the past god knows how many fights...

He was fighting like a boss last night.

    What's facepalm about that fool?

    Lost in 2005 to Erik
    Bradley didn't beat him.
Marquez unofficialiy outboxed him in 2011 and got the KO in 2012

2009 was Pac's prime and since 2010 onwards everybody has been waiting to see whether he has still got it... because he hasn't been showing us much. Last night he showed it.

Pacquiao still beats pretty much everyone at 147 excluding Marquez (goes either way everytime) and Mayweather.. if he comes out like he did last night...

He has too much pride to retire like that; similar to Hatton and many others before him. Ideally he would take another couple winnable fights to see if he can recover, which, doesn't seem likely. Just too devastating of a KO but if one man could do it, it would be Pac.
