Why are people saying Manny is DONE?

    Don't get me wrong, I love that JMM finally got revenge, but Manny was looking better last night than he has since the Cotto fight. His work rate, stamina, and power were still there. We saw a bit of the 'whirlwind Manny'', a style that comes with a risk. If anything, it was JMM's mental fortitude and previous encounters with Manny that allowed him to weather the storm and land the punch he needed to.

    Do I think Manny should retire? Yes but only because that shot is NOT good for your health but I still think he would give anyone problems at 147 due to his speed and work rate.

    Anyway, I wish the fight went another 2 to 4 rounds but I'm very glad JMM was able to get, a definitive win over Pacquiao.

    It's just the shock of seeing the brutal KO of a normally very solid chinned fighter. I think people will calm down with the retirement stuff as time goes by.

    He has lost his best qualities and people know how to beat him now. Marquez would beat him again, and Bradley is certainly capable aswell.

    Pacquiao may just aswell call it a day.

    PAC shouldn't retire. Duran didn't retire after Hearns knocked him the f*ck out and went on to still have a great rest of his career. A KO doesn't mean a fighter is automatically shot, people are just a lot more ******ed this day and age about fighters they dislike.

    He aint done. It's just that it IS NOT a good sign being on the receiving end of a KO like that. Both fighters have GREAT resumes. Should retire and enjoy life with their families. ATGs.

    Lewis, Duran and many others have all been KO'd brutally and have gone on to have great careers AFTERWARDS.

    He was winning the fight and got caught with a huge punch, it happens, especially when you're fighting a level of the calibre of JMM

    He has lost his last three fights (yes I know the score of JMM III), each one getting worse. Sure, he could stil fight and make some dough, but his big dollar days are over, except maybe in Manilla.

    No way should he get in there with Floyd now...which is why Floyd may fight him. However a fool and his money are soon parted, and IMO only a fool would PPV a Floyd-Pacman fight at this point in their careers.

    Fighters generally are never the same after they are knocked the **** out cold and lifeless whilst humping the canvass for a solid 2 minutes late in their careers. Shadows of Roy Jones here.

    Maybe his activities outside the ring had caught up with him and not taking training seriously.

    His chin is gone and when that happens its over ,what's going to happen if he stays around and continue to get KO.I see this all the time, this wasn't a TKO this was a NO COUNT KO. Fighters don't recover from this, and is he still PPV material.
