Pacquiao was winning the fight but he was very stupid to try to finish JMM when there were only 2-3 seconds left in round 6. I mean that Pac still had many more rounds to get the job done but he was just careless. Congrat to JMM for this big win. What a shot!:good
Agreed, I said in the RBR I could see JMM tiring out with that extra bulk as the fight went on and I still think it would have happened. I guess Pac just doesn't know any other way, not to take anything away from JMM or make excuses, he did what he had to do.
Dude, you realize he was also knocked ****ing stupid in the 3rd as well...right? I mean to say he was "winning" the fight, while implying this was some sort of "fluke" shot is idiocy. He was up by what 1 pt on the official cards? SMFH...
JMM may have been more economical woth his punching... but did you see the huge he landed in those exchanges in the 5th. in fact throughout the fight from round 1 onwards JMM attacked the body at every portunity. this definately affected pac and would slow him down the stetch. Pacqiao was fighting high pace anyway and maybe that's why he wanted to finish it early because he knew he would tire down the stretch and could feel the effect of JMM body attack
Had Pacquiao a point ahead. 3rd and 4th rounds were JMM's, 5th very much Pacquiao's. He was doing well, physically he was very impressive, but yes, he really made a mistake. I don't think he respected JMM's punching power, despite JMM telling everyone he was training for strenght, looking for the knockout. I mean, he TOLD everyone exactly what he was going to do.
Pacquaio was knocked down in the 3rd, he was hurt bad in the 5th round which HBO crew ignored and KTFO cold in the 6th it was no mistake.
JMM landed a Hell of a left hook to the body, and made Pac wince in the 4th I think, had to be watching cuz it wasn't called. It clearly bothered Pac.
I didn't say or imply that it was a fluke shot at all, but I said "What a shot" which means it was a clean shot. Didn't you see that in my post above *******? I'm talking about being careless, OK? I'm not talking about some sort of fluke. Don't ****ing misunderstood me. Btw, Did you see JMM's face in the sixth round? He was in the serious situation.
I was probably a little more shocked in the moments after the first kd than I was after the ko. It was a surreal moment to see Pac down and hurt like that. He however was able to recover and began to take over the fight 2 rounds later. Hypothetically speaking, had the ko never have happened, how do you think the rest of the fight would have played out?
