Could Marquez have accomplished the same as pac moving up weight or even better?

Seeing how he acually seems more fit as a welterweight than pac now, he looks like he has the better one punch power especially since he knows how to make guys run into them? not to mention his ability to adjust well after a few rounds, big heart to get up after a few knockdowns and great combination punching.

at 39 he defeated possibly the best pacquiao imo since the cotto fight. I find it quite a waste that he could have maintained his career better. There are a lot of better fights that he could have taken and definently have been cashing out as much as manny. He looks as if he could run through 2009's welterweight division to current. Only person i'd pick against would be floyd.

I believe so. Looking at all the fighters they have both fought, I can see Marquez matching Pac.

Marquez just had **** management. The only favor they did for him was getting him the Manny and Diaz fight.

    He's a counter puncher.

Pac was an attacker mowing down BIGGER guys. JMM does not do that.
