Kessler looked sharp and hungry. He knows that there are two big fight waiting for him now. Froch and Ward.

Give credit to his trainer, Montoya, who realised that Kessler didn't have the same footspeed as before, and changed his style into being more of a powerpuncher. Respect!

Kessler's offense definitely looks more stinging than what it has before.. He fights more aggresively than he did under Olsen.

    Indeed.

Let's see what happens. I think he will defeat Froch again. Froch lives in some kind of eufouria after beating Lucien Bute the way he did, so he will probably come storming at Kessler also. That's not a good idea. Kessler is an excellent counterpuncher also.

On the other hand I don't think he will defeat Andre Ward. Ward is going through / is on his way to prime right now - and Kessler is out of it. The longer it goes before they meet again, the slimmer Kesslers chances are.

Easy nights work for him, don't think he will beat Froch, Froch was robbed the first time out IMO

Kessler looked great. I thought Froch would steam roll him if they met again (he seems to have learnt some lessons over the last few years and Kessler looked drawn and old in his last 2 fights imo).

But Kessler looked sharp and quick against Magee. I still have Froch down for a win though in the rematch, another brutal 12 rounder!

Remember that Magee is a balding postman.

I thought there was a moment in the first round when Kessler looked a little bit shaky from one of Magee's punches, but that wasn't conclusive.

However once Kessler started landing body shots, Magee had no answer whatsoever.

LoL Froch was robbed... wtf are you talking about... It was a close but clear win for Kessler... A robbery is a term tossed around to much on these forums...

Kessler would outbox - and with his new found power - prob be the first to KO Abraham.

Hopefully he gets to fight Froch again. Winner gets to fight Ward in a rematch.

Wont beat Froch, but would still give all the division fits minus Ward and Froch. After the Green bout I'd pick Bute to beat him, but last w/e he changed my opinion.
He took several hard L hands from Magee, and while Magee aint on Bute's level, Kessler showed good footwork in moving away from MAgees power. It's likely he could do the same with Bute.
